Due to personal issues (wife in critical care unit at hospital) I will be neglecting the GITS Club for a few days. Consequently I will extend the deadlines on the challenges and suspend additional POWs until after the first of the year.
Play well with one another and have a Happy Holiday Season and Happy New Year.
Oh, yeah,
Keep Writing!

Hope things are getting better, and I hope you and your family manage to have Happy Holidays and New Years. We understand that GITS Club comes after all that, and wish you the best.
Sincerely, L

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes -- much appreciated.
My wife seems to be doing much better today. They are in the process of weaning her off of the ventilator. Fingers crossed.
Thanks again and Happy New Year to one and all.

An update:
On December 22nd my wife was admitted to the hospital for surgery. Complications from her anesthesia required her to spend the next ten days in the Cardiac Care Unit (ICU) and yesterday she was transferred to a regular room. With any luck she will be home tomorrow.
Just wanted to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and, with any luck, I should be back here on a regular basis by the end of the week.
Thanks again and always,
Keep Writing!

Just came here, since I wasn't home for the holidays (= no internet)... Glad to see that everything's okay! All the best for 2011, by the way, and also rapid recovery to your wife! MyBrain's words: Stay strong!

For better or worse...... I'm baaaaaaaacccccccccckkkkkkkkkk! ;D Hope everyone had a safe and joyous holiday season and that you are all ready for an exciting new year at TGC. First, thank you one and all for your support and well wishes while my wife was in the hospital. You folks are like a second family. A special thanks goes out to Founding Father, Jeff Messerman for keeping tabs on the ‘kids’ while I was away. Much appreciated. I'm happy to report that the little woman is home and slowly regaining her strength and should be like new in no time. Thanks again. Now, to the screenwriting stuff. The Treatment Challenge is still on the table. There were no entries in the December challenge, so I would hope to see a bushel basket full of treatments for the January challenge. The poll is up for the December Writing Challenge and, although, there were only two entries we need to pick a winner of the 3rd Writing Challenge NoPrize Prize. So check out the entries and vote for your favorite. The January Writing Challenge is now open. This month’s theme will be New Year's Resolutions that went terribly wrong. Use your imaginations; write in any genre; keep to under five (5) pages. And as always if you have an idea to improve The GITS Club feel free to drop me a line ( mscherer0@gmail.com) I am open to any and all ideas -- as long as it won’t get me thrown in jail. Keep Writing!
