I apologize for the late announcement -- much going on in my personal life, but I digress. This month's writing challenge??
Write a short (3-5 pages) screenplay based on Christmas themed fanfiction about your favorite show, superhero, pre-existing tv/movie characters. Thanks to dwight for the idea.
Time's a wastin' as we are already twelve days into a holiday month.
Keep Writing!

If anybody cares, I'd like feedback on what's the worst thing about this script. I like the concept... I think if you shortened the original meeting of santa and the gang, involved something with scrooge besides just the (V.O.) story.. but I guess i just knew it was Scrooge from the get go, so when you mention his name its.. like "well yeah, knew that a few pages back." but interesting concept i like it.

Thanks for the feedback, dwight. As I'm suddenly involved in another very exciting activity I don't think I'm going to rewrite this script, but I'll take your advice to heart and apply it to future projects. I think I'm not good at being silly, so it could have been a good idea to cut the gang meeting out entirely and have Holmes sit down somewhere more exciting. The Scrooge mystery, well, all good mystery, probably, takes experience and work to get right. Or it's dialogue that could use some trimming.

argh... had a little idea for writing some Firefly fan fiction, but with the holidays and family I haven't given myself any time...
