Hi kids,
Just took the greyhound out for his 1am "yellow snow-making." 1 degree of temp, 20 below windchill. Good God!
Well we're about a week and a half along here on The GITS Club board and I must say, I'm blown away. This little experiment has become a full blown success, I would say. The Logline section is going great and seems hugely popular, there's some great material posted in Scenes and Acts, and some brave souls even have put up some full drafts... all in about a week.
Oh and don't look now but we may be crossing 100 members by today.
Wow.
I'll be all over the map today, posting critiques of the material I read while dealing with various sick kids the past 48 hours so check back frequently, eh?
Oh and for the love of all that's holy, do yourself a favor and read Erin Gould's LOVE ALTERS script, will ya'? A tough benchmark has been set around here... pretty staggering achievement.
That's all for now. Don't forget to floss.
Jeff

I used to live in Chicago, so yes I know what cold is. AND I lived in Anchorage, AK for about 9 months in the 1980s -- it gets cold there too! See, all your hard work -- and putting your neck out there is paying off Jeff. :)Hopefully, out of this popularity someone in the buisness will be impressed and, as Cuba Golding Jr. so aptly said in "Jerry McQuirre," Show you the money!" Keep rockin'! Been trying devoting some time after dinner to read one GITS club someone's work at night. If "Love Alters" gets your reccomendation, sure dude I'll read it. I'll read it tonight. - E.C. Henry
