I recently started dating my "unicorn," my dream-girl. The reality - till now - has been better than the dream. She just got a job, is taking post-grad classes (so she can be eligible for grad school), and is also going to be taking the GREs in November. As a result, we haven't been able to hang out much in the past month, and my OCD is kicking in.
Her birthday is upcoming, and we have plans tonight, but now she is telling me that tonight will be the last night she can hang out until Halloween...
Instead of fearing that I am going to get dumped, I want to use this as an opportunity to kick-ass on my own project. I desperately want this woman to be my "girlfriend," instead of just being my "lady friend," which she is now. But if she's going to be extremely busy these next two weeks, I should be too. I should always be busy...
Busy WRITING. Because even if the Unicorn goes away, writing will always be there.
