Hi everyone,
Another occasional post from Songwithoutwords having nothing to do with screenwriting.
I've been out for a couple of weeks and won't be back for another couple of months I think. I posted a few months back that "two projects have been dropped on my lap" and since then I've been consumed by them. I work for a pharmaceutical multinational (which I'm proud of by the way! we save lives!) and I'm implementing an IT system for human resources in two different European countries. There's a bit of pressure because we go live in 6 weeks and if it doesn't work then... well... our associates won't get paid. They'll miss mortgage payments, telephone bills, alimony, you name it, and it will fundamentally be my fault. So, I can't f*ck this up. That's why I've been working harder than I ever remember working in my youth, from 5 am to 7 pm on average, 7 days a week, for the last month. While having a cold. And spending my last 30 free minutes per day with my wife and 4 kids.
That's my excuse. That's why I'm not reading and feeding back on screenplays. I think it's a pretty good excuse.
What's yours?

Andrew,
Family first is my motto -- so no problems, mate.
Good luck with the projects. Safe travels. Soak up your environments (remember, write what you know). GITS Club will be here when you return, waiting for your talents and time.
Keep Writing!
