Hi everyone, I've posted about this over in the morning coffee section. Created this idea, wrote the screenplay (in Word, ignoring all formatting conventions), and planned production in about 8 hours. Thought some of you might be interested seeing in the screenplay part of it. No feedback / script notes / effort requested here - I can't improve it anymore - the movie is already made. Enjoy! Do you have a link to the finished product?
The screenplay that you put up is definitely not standard format. So, it makes it hard for me to get a vibe on the SP.

Heyo, not surprised the vibe doesn't come across. Was written for us to shoot and not to communicate to others, so a little naïve of me to post it here like that. Here's the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmfwXGD8NV4Days of laughter and fun, making that. Everyone should try it! Andrew PS - I love your nick. When you follow the link above you'll notice that my YouTube account is 'mycatsam'... Outrageous.

After watching the video it is interesting to see the "script". It was an interesting way to write it, scene by scene. Thanks for posting it.

Hiya brain,
Actually it was written as straight dialogue and then simply broken down into a table like that for production planning. There were no action lines in the script. Those in the cast and crew who read the dialogue version seemed to get it, but I have to keep in mind that we were all sitting together and referring to some bunkers we'd already been to and all knew something about.
It's not a script in the traditional sense, but it did the job. It convinced the actors to get on camera, it guided us in the shoot, and it was my faithful companion in editing.
About half the people I speak to think the thing is real, even considering the twist at around 4:30! I'm pleased with that -- it shows that we've copied the documentary format well and done sufficient research to give it a sense of legitimacy. Sometimes I worry about the power of media to actually change the past (there was never really a moon landing, right?), but now that I've done it myself I keep hoping some poor university student will cite this online video in their thesis. :-)
Anyhow... for what it's worth... on to the next thing...

songs, That was funny. The documentary style did lend a bit of legitimacy to it. You are right though at 4:30 about the (Spoiler) p***s bread. Very funny.
And the part where he guy finds some of it laying around after more than thirty years and they eat it. The last part where the reason why they shut it down it also pretty funny.
I believe that the script worked for you in this instance, although I am not sure about the style for future projects unless you do more of the mockumentary stuff.
