Hey Guys
I have a question. I'm just doing what will hopefully be the final polish on an original TV spec pilot.
Originally I wrote it without act breaks in, as most of the TV scripts I'd read didn't have them in. However, just the other day I read a post saying it's better to have act breaks in as it shows you understand the principle.
Any thoughts?
The post also went on to say 'do the maths' and stick the act breaks in. Surely this is bad advice? Isn't it better to have act breaks where at the relevant places even if it means the acts are a little unbalanced, then sticking them in where the maths works best?
Any advice would be must appreciated.
