In effort to save some of my GITS Club Members some $$, I thought I'd remind you all that IF you submit before April 1st early deadline, you only have to pay $30. You can submit up to the May 1st deadline, but after April first the price goes up $15 bucks! So you're paying $45 per submission. I want EVERYONE to submit to the contest. It's the best. Don't you want to compete -- and win against the best?! Well, I know I do. I'm NOT one of those weak, feeble minded, running-scared people who thinks, "The fewer the better. It increases my chances of winning." Phooey on that! I wanna compete against the best -- even if I lose! So... if you think you've got the goods, COMPETE! After all wouldn't it be awesome if one of us got one of the lauded Nicholls Fellowships? If I don't win it. I want one you guys too. Compete! - E.C. Henry from Bonney Lake, WA

E.C.
Yeah, well, I almost forgot myself, but never fear, I entered three of my scripts last night.
And if you do enter the Nicholl, or any contest for that matter, please, please don't do what I did when first starting out. I would enter a contest then sit back and wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And not write anything new. You gotta write new material all of the time, my peeps. All the time. You have to be the Energizer Bunny of screenwriting -- just keep going and going and going.
And that means,
Keep Writing!

I didn't enter the Nicholls last year, BUT this year I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to enter, AND how the Nicholls has a listing of all your past entries. Three entrees this year, Mike? That means you're up to win $90,000! IF you do, I do hope the first round of beers is on you! FYI: I'm either a Heineken or Miller Genuine Draft guy ;D Write on, indeed... - E.C.
