Hi folks,
Sorry I've been a bit spotty around these parts, I'm pretty much elbow deep in this script right now. Halfway point. Easily the hardest thing I've ever attempted but I guess that's a good sign, right? One thing I sometimes forgot to do during the many years of cranking out drafts? Challenge myself. I usually took the easy route... write the familiar in genres I knew well.
That's not a consideration this time out. And it's rather refreshing.
Anyway, hope all is well here on the board. Looks like ole' Mike is keeping the fort well tended to... vacuuming up the dustbunnies, dusting the lampshades, etc.
I should be back here with more frequency by early next month.
Take care!
Jeff

Congrats on the PAID gig, Jeff. You're doing what you SHOULD be doing. Focused on delivering your best. Rock on, sir! I totally get it when your writing pulls you away from the Internet. There's a time in the creative process where you really need to focus in. For me that's when I'm line editing and nearing a definite state of completion. Drafting up something new or coming up with a new plot from scratch... not so much; that's more of a matter of chipping away little by little. We're all pulling for ya, Jeff. Heck I might even make a special trip to the grocery story JUST to buy some Wisconsin cheese. Yummy! You do get a kick-back on that, right? (joke) - E.C. Henry from Bonney Lake, WA

Sunday morning at Panera.
A fresh coffee (dark roast). A fresh pastry (Bear Claw). A booth to myself. My laptop. A yellow legal pad. Plenty of pens and Post-itsĀ®.
A perfect day to, Keep Writing!
